This Amazon show follows a group of Nazi fighters living in 1977 in New York City. Yes, you read that right. Nazi fighters, in New York City, in 1977. The premise of the show is that since the fall of Hitler and the Nazi regime, some Nazis came to the United States, determined to infiltrate the society and set up a Fourth Reich.
Unfortunately, the Nazis have even infiltrated the government, so it’s up to the main characters to see that justice is served. These main characters are led by Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino). Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman) is the newest recruit, added to Meyer’s team after his grandmother gets killed by a Nazi she was hunting.
The team of Nazi hunters also includes Murray Markowitz (Saul Rubinek) and his wife Mindy (Carol Kane), Lonny Flash (Josh Radnor), Roxy Jones (Tiffany Boone), Joe Mizushima (Louis Ozawa), and Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvaney). They have an ally working for the FBI in Millie Morris (Jerrika Hinton), and they could use all the allies they can get when fighting the mysterious Colonel (Lena Olin) and her right-hand man Travis Leich (Greg Austin).
The team is full of interesting people, and the show has its twists and turns, and you definitely won’t be bored getting to know these fascinating characters and following the intriguing plot. So sit back, relax, and enjoy Hunters, one of the most underrated shows from 2020. You won’t regret it!
