4. Coming to Netflix January 2021: Daughter from Another Mother – Jan. 20

Daughter from Another Mother is an upcoming Mexican comedy series revolving around two very different mothers that decide to unite their families after they discover their six-month-old children were mistakenly switched at birth. Heartwarming and sentimental, this comedy should be just the thing to watch on a cozy January afternoon.

3. Coming to Netflix January 2021: Fate: The Winx Saga – Jan. 22

If you’re familiar with the animated series Winx Club, which used to air on Nickelodeon, you might want to check out this upcoming young adult drama series, which functions as a live-action adaptation of the popular series. Supposedly, this new version of Winx will be darker and edgier. The cast is mostly comprised of newcomers, so you likely won’t recognize many of the actors on the series.

As for the official plot, Fate: The Winx Saga takes place in the Otherworld. A group of young fairies attends a magical boarding school where they are taught how to master their magical abilities while navigating love, rivalries and the dark forces that threaten to eliminate their existence. Don’t expect to see all of the original fairies from the cartoon appear,  thus far it looks like only  Bloom, Stella and Musa are cast while some of the others might have been combined into composite characters.
