Learn about all of the buzziest shows coming to Netflix February 2021.

It seems like the year just started, but here we are prepping for the most romantic month of the year. In just a couple more weeks, it’ll be February and Netflix has done us the kindness of releasing the schedule for the month so we can all start figuring out what we’ll be binge-watching next month. The following guide details all the buzziest new series arriving on Netflix February 2021.

Netflix February 2021: Kid Cosmic on Feb. 2

For those who loved Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Kid Cosmic is at the top of their watchlist. Craig McCracken is back again with an animated superhero series created in-house by Netflix Animation. Originally announced back in 2018, fans have been waiting for more than two years now to see the show come to fruition.

Thankfully they don’t have to wait much longer because Season 1 of Kid Cosmic is set to arrive on February 2. The first season will follow a young boy who’s superhero dreams come true when he stumbles upon five cosmic stones. But being a superhero isn’t all fun and games, as he’ll quickly find out.

Netflix February 2021: Firefly Lane on Feb. 3

Based on Kristin Hannah’s acclaimed novel of the same name, Firefly Lane is an upcoming drama series starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke as lifelong best friends Tully and Kate, respectively. The ten-episode first season will officially begin streaming on February 3. Based on the show’s synopsis and the trailer, it seems like Firefly Lane will be perfect for those who loved other Netflix series like Virgin River and Sweet Magnolias — with a dash of This Is Us sprinkled on top.

The official Netflix description for what is perhaps the streamer’s most anticipated series of the new year is as follows:

"The greatest love story of all can be between friends. When unlikely duo Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) meet at age 14, they couldn’t be more different. Tully is the brash and bold girl you can’t ignore, while Kate is the mousy shy girl you never notice. But when a tragedy brings them together, they are bonded for life—forever inseparable best friends. Together they experience 30 years of ups and downs—triumphs and disappointments, heartbreak and joy, and a love triangle that strains their friendship. One goes on to fabulous wealth and fame, the other chooses marriage and motherhood—but through the decades, their bond remains, until it faces the ultimate test."
