Following in the footsteps of the first special, Euphoria Special 2 will premiere a few days early for HBO Max subscribers. The early premiere will start on Friday, January 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. This is in advance of the official HBO premiere slated for Sunday, January 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In contrast to the first episode which focused on Rue, Euphoria Episode 2 is all about Jules (Hunter Schafer.” Directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, the episode revolves around Jules on her Christmas break, reflecting on the events that have taken place throughout the past year. The episode is titled “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob.”

Apart from Levinson, Schafer also co-wrote the episode and serves as a co-executive producer. Like the first episode, this one was filmed under COVID production guidelines.

The first special premiered to phenomenal numbers as fans of the teen drama wait eagerly for the show’s second season.

Euphoria is also coming off of a hot streak from awards season, where show star Zendaya won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama. The series also won for Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
