Miss Scarlet and The Duke Episode 2, “The Woman in Red,” airs tonight on PBS and you won’t want to miss out on this new episode! In the premiere, we were introduced to the titular Miss Eliza Scarlet, a young woman navigating the grim streets of Victorian London with only one mission in mind: to become a skilled private detective. The problem is that no one believes in her due to her being a woman and the sexist values of the era. A female detective was simply unheard of.

But by the end of the first episode, Eliza’s father Henry has died, leaving behind his private detective agency. Eliza seizes the opportunity to take over the empty offices after successfully solving her first case. In the second episode of the Masterpiece series, Eliza will tackle another case, this one even more challenging than the last.

When does Miss Scarlet and The Duke Episode 2 come out?

The premiere episode of this new crime drama will air tonight, January 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes releasing every Sunday through late February.
