Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 midseason premiere date announced
By Ariba Bhuvad
Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 finally has a premiere date for the midseason premiere! Returning nearly five months after the midseason finale, the series will finally return to finish off the sixth season.
A lot is at stake when Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 returns given the group must come together to take down Virginia (Colby Minifie) and her rowdy group of Rangers. However, things just might get more interesting with the addition of three new cast members.
John Glover, Nick Stahl, and Keith Carradine are all joining the series as a trio of, well, we have no idea what, but I am certainly curious to learn if they are with the “good” guys or the “bad” guys. I’m not sure we can use those descriptors anymore in this world, but you catch my drift.
Along with more cast members, it was announced by TVLine, that Aisha Tyler will be directing the 13th episode, one of the nine episodes left to air for season 6. Apparently, she has directing credits from both Roswell shows, so it should be an intriguing venture to see how she handles the world of the undead.
What will the remainder of Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 be about?
Well, here is the show/network’s official description:
"As Morgan’s bid to free the remaining members of the group becomes bolder, Virginia grows increasingly desperate to find her sister and protect the settlements from forces working inside and outside her walls."
With all that desperation and anger, I’d say everyone is about to understand what it means to really piss her off. And from what we’ve seen already, I’m not sure I’d want to be on her bad side.
"The second half of Season 6 reveals the impact of what living under Virginia’s control has done to each person in this group, who once saw themselves as a family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed, and loyalties forever changed. When everyone is forced to take sides. they discover the meaning of ‘The End Is the Beginning’."
We’ve already seen the breaking point of a handful of characters thanks to Virginia’s rule, including John Dorie (Garrett Dillahunt) who seemingly ventured away from the group without June (Jenna Elfman). It’s unclear if he will return, but I’d he was rather fed up with the life they had been living, and if anything, he’s hopeful June will change her mind and join him.
Time will tell how Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 will unfold in the back half of the season, but I’m certainly along for the ride!
