All American spin-off set at The CW, will follow Simone
By Maria Alicia
According to TVline, The CW will be debuting a spin-off of their hit television show All American titled All American: Homecoming. This show would follow the life of recent Beverly graduate Simone Hicks, played by Geffri Maya.
All American: Homecoming would follow Simone as she ventures to a Black College and University. They have announced that the show would also follow a baseball player from Chicago. Together, Simone and this mystery man will navigate the ups and downs of college living.
The showrunner for All American, Nkechi Okoro Carroll, will executive-produce, as well as write the series. Carroll has been given the green light from other All American execs, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Robbie Rogers.
The CW plans to premiere All American: Homecoming during the current third season of All American, as a “back door” pilot. Although they do not know when this is going to occur, yet. We are ready for it!
All American: Homecoming: What will happen to Jordan and Simone?
So what does this mean for Simone and Jordan on All American?
We know Simone has given up her child and is currently avoiding Jordan. With their relationship being on the rocks, we think that this could be a great “restart” from Simone. This could also create some waves in Jordan’s life and make accepting Spencer’s move a little bit easier.
Since Homecoming also plans on bringing in a male lead, we can only imagine that these two will be entangled in some sort of relationship. Which would mean Jordan will definitely be on the outs.
I think we can all say that both Simone and Jordan deserve to be happy and if that happiness happens apart, we can get behind it!
