Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts has branched out in television with projects like Homecoming on Amazon Prime Video and now she’ll be among the slate of upcoming Apple TV Plus shows, too! Roberts is going to star in the limited series The Last Thing He Told Me and will executive produce alongside Reese Witherspoon, according to Collider.

The series is based on Laura Dave’s novel of the same name and revolves around a woman “who forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared.”

Kate Hudson

As we previously reported, Kate Hudson is slated to star in season two of the crime drama Truth Be Told alongside Octavia Spencer. Hudson will play a lifestyle guru named Micah Keller, an old friend of Spencer’s Poppy. Poppy is a true crime podcaster and we don’t yet know what story will unfold during the show’s sophomore season. However, it does sound like Hudson’s character will be a key part of the central case.
