Best Daphne and Simon moment: The two meet for the first time

Love can be a complicated thing, especially when one’s future depended on it. For Simon, he had no interest in getting married upon his return to London.

Yet when word reached the ears of every eligible woman that he was available, his plans were becoming less successful. Daphne on the other hand had been preparing her whole life to get married.

Unfortunately, her oldest brother Anthony made it nearly impossible for her to meet anyone. That is except Nigel Berbrooke.

When Daphne is able to get away from Anthony for a brief moment she happens to run into Nigel. Uninterested Daphne tries to leave but Nigel pursues her until she bumps into Simon.

In a panic, she forces a conversation with Simon who believes she purposely wanted to find an excuse to meet him. Before their conversation can proceed Anthony arrives as it is revealed he and Simon are dear old friends.

While their first meeting is short it is obvious that the two are immediately intrigued by the other.
