Virgin River is one of those quirky small-town shows focusing on Melinda Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who relocates to the remote Northern California town of Virgin River to take a job as a local midwife and nurse practitioner.

In some ways, Firefly Lane felt like a small town. That one street served as the backdrop for Kate and Tully’s friendship and their formative teenage years.
