5 characters from Bridgerton we want to see more of in Season 2
4. Bridgerton Season 2 hopeful: Queen Charlotte and King George III
So technically these are two characters but the reason they are on this list is that we rarely see them together at all. Season 1 did provide us with a heartbreaking reason for this.
It’s obvious that King George III’s condition is preventing Queen Charlotte from being able to spend time with him. It’s perhaps for her own safety that she stays away but maybe Season 2 can show us perhaps happier times the couple once shared.
Flashbacks of how she met and married King George III would be a nice addition and provide audiences glimpses of when their married life was a happier one. Perhaps we’ll be able to see how his condition progressed and maybe leave us hopeful that they still can share a rare moment or two where he’s his old self again.
3. Bridgerton Season 2 hopeful: Madame Delacroix
Madame Genevieve Delacroix is quite the businesswoman and she knows it. From using a fake accent to her client’s rushing to buy her dresses, she’s made her way into society.
While she might not be considered a main character she was an important character in the first season nonetheless. Her boutique was a hub of gossip and rumors.
But what do we really know about her as a character? Flashbacks, as mentioned above, would also prove beneficial to really understanding who Genevieve is.
Where did she come from? How did she come about owning a boutique?
She is one of those characters that reveals only want she wants to and it would be exciting to see more of her next season. Especially since it seems she is in a relationship with Benedict Bridgerton.
Exactly what exact kind of romantic relationship they have remains currently unknown.
