Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 is coming this summer

Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 is on its way and we are ready for it.

According to TVLine, the news came out during the Television Critics Association press tour. Although the exact date has yet to be announced, we now know that it will be a summer premiere.

Coming back for Motherland: Fort Salem season 2 will be Taylor Hickson as Raelle, Jessica Sutton as Tally, Ashley Nicole Williams as Abigail, Amalia Holm as Scylla, Demetria McKinney as Anacostia, and Lyne Renee as General Adler.

This is exciting news as Deadline released that Lyne Renee has now been promoted to a season regular. We are happy to be seeing more of Adler this year and are hoping to dive more into her story.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2: What does this mean for the witches?

We know that Raelle, Tally, and Abigail are now up against the Camarilla and may have to join forces with the Spree. But how will the events at the end of Season 1 play out?

Currently, Tally has sacrificed herself to save Adler and is now becoming a Biddy. What will this mean for the trio? Will they still be able to work together?

Abigail and Raelle were left in the middle of the desert and fought the odds together. When we last saw them, they were walking in their own force field. How will they return and what will happen when they stop holding hands?

Finally, Raelle’s mother is still alive and working with the Spree. How will this impact Raelle and her relationship with Scylla and the rest of the witches?
