6. Insecure Season 5
Issa Rae’s hit series Insecure is finally returning soon for its fifth and, sadly, final season. While fans might be disappointed to learn that Insecure is coming to an end, Rae has an incredible range of upcoming projects on the horizon so rest assured you’ll be seeing plenty more of her in the future, even if the comedy series is over.
An exact date has not been set for the show’s swan song, but it was included in the press release of upcoming HBO shows for 2021, so it’s expected to debut later this year. The final season will continue following Issa and her friends as they navigate their relationships.

5. Succession Season 3
HBO’s critically-acclaimed drama Succession will return for a third season at some point this year. Fans of the series have been begging the cabler for more information on the Machiavellian Roy family, and for a good reason. The series is incredibly addictive, and a fun watch. Again, HBO hasn’t set a return date for Succession, but it will release at some point this year. Currently, Succession is busy filming in New York City, so if I had to guess, I would estimate that it will return sometime in the fall or winter.
