4. Scenes from a Marriage
Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain are teaming up again after working together in A Most Violent Year for the English-language remake of the 1973 Swedish miniseries Scenes from a Marriage. As far as what the show is about, the details are being kept to a minimum right now, but it looks like the show has a fairly basic premise as it’s simply “an examination of marriage,” as the title suggests.
Both Isaac and Chastain are notable A-list actors, so rest assured this series will probably be a frontrunner for awards season next year. Filming on the series began last fall, and it is expected to premiere later this year.
3. Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11
The long-running Larry David comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm has been renewed for Season 11. Unfortunately, HBO left us hanging on most of these series, announcing that they would debut this year but withholding premiere dates. Again, I regret to inform you that I don’t have a premiere date for this one, but it is slated to air at some point in 2021!
Curb Your Enthusiasm is known for taking lengthy hiatuses between seasons so the fact we’re getting a new batch of episodes only one year after Season 10 premiered is pretty exciting, to say the least.
