All American Season 3, Episode 8 recap: Canceled

In the previous episode of All American, we finally found out what happened in Vegas! What will this mean for Layla and Spencer? Will the news about the newlyweds get out?
We start with seeing the aftermath of Layla finding out what happened. Spencer is trying to explain everything to her, but Layla is done with him.
To get his mind off everything, Spencer takes his brother to a morning workout. While they are at the park, 2 guys come over and start trash-talking Spencer and the Crenshaw team. They challenge each other to a catch off and Spencer ends up losing. This just knocks Spencer while he is down.
When the 2 guys walk away, Spencer realizes these guys go to Crenshaw. What does this mean for the team?
Homecoming in Crenshaw is in 3 weeks and they have announced the homecoming court. It is Kia, Spencer, Coop, and Chris. Will this make Spencer and Coop talk to each other?
All American Season 3 Episode 8: Will there be more players on Crenshaw?
Spencer goes to see Billy in his office. He asks about players on the team and tells Billy to look up the guys that Spencer played against at the park. Due to the principal’s new rules, these guys are ineligible.
Billy goes to Principal Carter and asks him to remove the GPA requirement, but Carter doesn’t budge.
At home, Spencer, Grace, and Dillon are eating dinner. Grace got the bid to redo the garden at the school. Then they start talking about all of the problems at the school. Dillon mentions that the guys on the team need to get their grades up. Will this give Spencer an idea?
In Beverly, Jordan is getting ready for school and spirit week. He wants to match Olivia for “twin day,” but Olivia isn’t really in the mood for school. So, Laura offers up a mental health day for both of them.
At school, Vanessa brought in a pastry for Asher and then asks him to go see a movie with her. He shuts her down and does not want to go.
Spencer is talking to Kia at school and finds out more about the kid from the park, Jabari. He finds out that Jabari just got out of prison.
Spencer walks over to him and talks about joining the team. Spencer mentions that he knows Jabari’s GPA isn’t good enough for the team. Jabari then tells Spencer that it isn’t his GPA. Principal Carter won’t get the transcripts from Juvie.
Grace is at school talking to Principal Carter about the budget for the garden. Grace brings up the grade requirement and Carter dismisses it. Then, Spencer walks up and asks Principal Carter about the transcript for Jabari. Carter gives them the run-around and Grace gives him a piece of her own mind.
Jordan and Olivia go to a karaoke place. Jordan asks her how she was doing and Olivia says she is fine. Jordan mentions that maybe she should go after Spencer, but she doesn’t want to because she thinks that they have done enough damage. He also tells her to clear the air with Layla. Will she take his advice?
Preach shows up at the Cafe to talk to Coop. He left town to go check up on Mo and what she has been up to. He thinks Mo is legit. Will Coop let it go?
In the Beverly Cafe, Spencer runs into Layla. Layla gives him one last piece of her mind.
All American: Will the break-ups lead to more heartbreak?
Coop shows up at the Spencer house and Dillon answers the door. She came with a box of things that she wants Spencer to have back. Grace won’t let her leave it there, she tells Coop that she will have to give it to Spencer herself.
Spencer is now home and someone knocks on the door, but it isn’t Coop. It is Billy. Billy wants to know what he is going to say for his homecoming speech later on. Spencer thinks that he needs to stop being the town superhero, but Billy says he doesn’t. He does tell Spencer that it is okay to ask for help sometimes.
In Beverly, Olivia shows up at the cafe to talk to Layla. She takes a swig of her water before she goes inside, but it is definitely not water.
Olivia walks in and tries to talk to Layla but they end up getting into a bigger argument. This did not go as planned.
In Crenshaw, Kia and Coop are getting ready to film their homecoming speeches. Spencer shows up late to record his speech. He says that it isn’t about being king or queen, it’s about each and every person making a difference at the school.
Jabari also shows up at the Cafe and tells them that his records have come over. He then asks if he can join the team and if he can help Spencer tutor the team.
In Beverly, JJ is still thinking that he and Vanessa are a thing, but she came over to talk to Asher. She is mad that Asher told her mother about everything over the summer. She also says she didn’t ask him to the movies as a date, but just as a friend. Maybe Vanessa and JJ are a thing.
In Crenshaw, Billy goes up to Carter about the transcript. Carter said that Billy did nothing and that it was Grace and Spencer that made the difference. Carter then tells Billy that he is the reason that he got sent to boarding school. He also says Billy punched him in the face and gave him stitches. Billy denies that this happened.
Before they close up at the cafe, Olivia shows up to talk to Spencer. She ends up admitting that there is something between the two of them. Everything is good until they end up hitting a parked car.
Olivia asks Spencer to switch seats with her because she won’t pass a sobriety test.
