“Something wicked this way comes” as far as American Horror Story Season 10 is concerned. Earlier today, TVLine reported that showrunner Ryan Murphy shared the first look at the upcoming tenth season by sharing a picture of Leslie Grossman and AHS newbie Macaulay Culkin.

We don’t know much at all about the next installment of the series, but it’s a safe bet that clues are embedded everywhere, and will continue to be sprinkled in promos as time goes on.

But with Murphy’s caption stating something wicked is coming our way, we can only assume chaos, weirdness, and strange occurrences are to be expected in American Horror Story Season 10.

The tenth season is currently filming in Provincetown, Massachusetts under the codename of “Pilgrim” which conjures up all sorts of ideas in my head as to what the plot will be. It won’t be that shocking if it’s connected to the season in some way, and given its filming in Massachusetts, it seems rather convenient to go with that codename.

Is it possible we’re getting a Thanksgiving-themed season of American Horror Story? Given how weird this show can get, I’m going to hope not.

Can you imagine the horrors we could potentially see? No, thank you.

Who is returning for American Horror Story Season 10?

While we don’t know the title of the tenth season, the character descriptions, or the plot, many are wondering who will take part in this next installment. When it comes to Ryan Murphy shows, you can all but expect the usual suspects, which sometimes gets a bit repetitive and monotonous, in my opinion, but hey, at least we got Culkin this time!

Joining Culkin and Grossman will be Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, and Frances Conroy, according to TVLine. It was announced over a year ago that Kathy Bates would return for the tenth season as well, but apparently, that has since changed–but no confirmation on that just yet.

We’ve had to wait a bit longer than usual for a new season of American Horror Story due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but rest assured, the tenth season is well on its way to coming together. Not to mention, the series has been renewed for seasons 11, 12, and 13 and there is a new spinoff series in the works at FX on Hulu, American Horror Stories. Given that the spinoff will be on Hulu, there’s a chance that it could be gorier, scarier, and weirder than anything we’ve seen from the series before. Hulu comes with its privileges over the cable networks, so don’t be shocked to see a wilder version of the series.

Can you imagine what that would look like? I’m not sure I want to.
