Arrow star Stephen Amell is looking mighty fine and shapely if I do say so myself. The former DC star is preparing to return to wrestling in the upcoming Starz drama Heels, which he’ll co-star in with Vikings star Alexander Ludwig.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we finally have a few first-look photos at Amell in a red speedo and little else in a scene for the series! Starz actually unveiled several different images showing the two actors decked out in their wrestling gear, prepared to enter the ring.

However, interestingly, neither character looks particularly enthused about venturing into the ring. As to why that might be? We’ll have to wait until the show premieres to find out.

Stephen Amell stars as the older brother and rival of Alexander Ludwig’s character.

Per the publication, Heels is about a pair of brothers who become rivals outside the ring just as well as inside it over their late father’s legacy. The pair includes Jack Spade (Amell) and Ace (Ludwig). With their wrestling personas, Ace typically plays the hero role while Jack portrays his nemesis, also known as “the Heel.”

Heels will be the first significant television project for Amell and Ludwig since their shows, Arrow and Vikings, both came to an end last year.

Amell shared a photo of the pair on his Twitter account.

The actor has had a rather rough go of it during the series’s production, as he first sustained a back injury while filming and then later tested positive for COVID-10. Luckily, things seemed to have gotten back on track, and he seems pumped for fans to see the show! While we don’t yet have a premiere date for Heels, it’s supposed to debut sometime this summer.
