Robert Kirkman’s latest series Invincible is finally arriving on Amazon Prime Video tonight. You know Kirkman’s work best from the hit zombie apocalypse series The Walking Dead, but he also created the Skybound/Image superhero comic series alongside Cory Walker and Ryan Otterly.

Invincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show focusing on 17-year-old Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun). The first three episodes of Invincible Season 1 will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video tonight, officially at midnight GMT.

The best part about Amazon releases is that new episodes typically come out early for people in the United States. Since the series is a global release, that means you can anticipate being able to watch it as early as 8 p.m. ET or 5 p.m. PT.

Sometimes Amazon shows take a little longer to upload, but if you’re eager to dive into Invincible, I’d recommend you start checking the app around that time and continue throughout the night.

Similar to some of Amazon’s other popular series, Invincible will air on a weekly schedule, so after the initial three episodes drop tonight, expect to see one new installment released each week. The series currently has a Certified Fresh seal of approval at Rotten Tomatoes with an impressive 100% approval rating.

What is Invincible Season 1 about?

Mark is your average teenager, apart from the fact that he has superpowers and is the son of the world’s most powerful superhero, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops his own abilities and tries to find his place in the world, he might realize that not everything he knows about his father is as “heroic” as he’d like to believe.

Apart from Simmons and Yeun, the series also stars Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Zachary Quinto, Melise, Mahershala Alie, Khary Payton, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin and more.

As you can see, Kirkman has recruited an impressive voice cast for this highly-anticipated adaptation. Apart from The Walking Dead, Invincible is his second-longest running comic book series, having concluded in 2018 after a 15-year run.
