Is Debris new tonight, March 29?
By Mads Lennon
Finola finally knows the truth about her father. How will that affect her work moving forward? Will there be a new episode of Debris Season 1 tonight, March 29?
Thankfully, yes! Debris Season 1 continues tonight in its usual timeslot of 10:00 p.m. EST / 7:00 p.m. PST on NBC. Debris Season 1, Episode 5, titled “Earthshine,” will see Finola struggling to continue working with Bryan given what she now knows about her father.
This evening’s installment will follow a brand-new episode of the reality singing competition show The Voice, which starts at 8:00 p.m. and then it’ll be followed by local and regional news coverage and a rerun of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., respectively.
What’s happening in Debris Season 1, Episode 5?
Apart from Finnola’s struggles, the main case-of-the-week in Debris Episode 5 is going to focus on the group INFLUX, who are planning to experiment with a truly deadly piece of debris.
If you watch the promotional video clip for “Earthshine,” you’ll see a brief tease for the episode in which the INFLUX gang makes a city bus disappear. It sounds like they could continue to experiment with the debris to the point where it makes an entire city vanish if Bryan and Finnola don’t intervene in time.
We still don’t know much about INFLUX, so hopefully, this episode will shed some more light on their motivations and end goals regarding the mysterious debris.
Watch the promo and read the official synopsis for the episode below:
"INFLUX steps out from the shadows, weaponizing the debris in a terrifying experiment; Finola struggles to keep her newfound knowledge from affecting her work."
