Manifest Season 3 premiere recap: Tailfin

In the Season 2 finale of Manifest, Cal is reunited with his family and Zeke has survived his death day.  How will this all play out in the Manifest Season 3 premiere?

Season 3 begins in Cuba. This is where the part of the plane was found. Ben is there and is looking for the boat, but no one seems to know where it is. Ben finds an old boat named the San Antonio and jumps aboard.

While in it, he begins to have a calling of screeching noises and everyone holding their ears. How is it all connected?

Cal calls Ben with the same calling. Then Michaela hops on the call, too, and also felt the same calling.

Manifest Season 3: What does this calling mean?

Ben tells Cal about the boat. Cal says that the boat has something to do with the plane.

Michaela and Zeke are on their honeymoon. They are talking about the callings. Surprisingly, Zeke doesn’t get the callings anymore. She wants to leave their honeymoon to answer the calling and Zeke agrees.

We then see a woman locked in a room and get not much else.

Grace and Olive are at home with the baby. Grace is telling Olive how proud she is of her for overcoming this past year with the family. Cal walks in and tells them about the calling. Cal says the calling was all of them about to die.

Ben is standing by the boat when 2 men walk up. They start talking about the boat and one of the men mentions Montego Airlines. Ben plays along and then hands them a lot of money to see what they have.

They go into a hanger and there, right in front of Ben’s eyes, is the tailfin of the plane. A child sneaks in behind Ben and takes a picture of the plane. This can’t be good.

Ben walks up and touches the plane and the same screaming calling comes to him and the others again. The sound makes Ben fly backward but now the kid has it all on tape.

Vasquez is walking about the precinct and overhears someone asking Drea about Michaela. This woman can’t find her mother and thinks Michaela can help.

Cal and Olive are now going through the calling to identify the woman by looking at the board in their garage. Michaela is now on the phone and is working with them. They find out that a woman they need to talk to happens to be in Costa Rica, which happens to be where Michaela and Zeke are on their honeymoon.

Ben gets up in the hanger and the two men are talking. Ben is talking to Vance through a microphone and tells him about the tailfin.

The little boy with the video now has a group around him. A police officer walks up and sees the video.

Michaela and Zeke go to visit the family of the 828 member. They say that their daughter went crazy, but it is probably just the callings. Michaela then tells them that Angelina, their daughter, might be in danger.

In Cuba, the police officer comes into the hanger. They ask Ben to touch the tailfin one more time.

In the police station, Michaela and Zeke are on the phone with Vasquez and Drea. They are talking about the missing person case. Drea gives them a new lead in Costa Rica.

Manifest Season 3: Will Ben make it out of Costa Rica?

Cal is now at Dr. Bahl’s office. She says he is growing nicely and then they talk about the callings. Grace asks Dr. Bahl if she has a way to get in contact with Ben.

Dr. Bahl calls Vance and Vance tells them about the tailfin. This information is enough to freak out Grace and Cal, but they don’t know what is really going on.

Cal and Grace go home. Cal says that Ben is going to bring someone home.

Michaela and Zeke go visit Angelina’s friend. She thinks that Angelina went back to New York and that she was paranoid. Michaela informs her friend that she thinks Angelina is still in Costa Rica.

The woman locked in the room must be Angelina.

Meanwhile, Ben is being backed into a corner by the police to touch the tailfin. He touches it again and this time he doesn’t fly backward. The police officer still advances but Vance busts in and saves him.

Manifest Season 3: Will Ben get out of Cuba? Will Michaela find Angelina?

Vance and Ben have the tailfin and are headed to an airstrip. Ben is trying to convince Vance that this is the actual tailfin. Vance wants to know how it all adds up. Don’t we all?

Michaela and Zeke go back to Angelina’s parents. They get a little defensive about where Angelina is. Could they be keeping her in a room?

Vance and Ben are on the road and are now being followed.

Michaela is in the bathroom and Zeke passes out. Could this have been a plan? From Michaela’s reaction, we think so.

Vance and Ben stop the truck. Ben is let out and is told to go home. Vance continues to drive the truck as a decoy.

Michaela is now starting to roam the house. She gets a strong feeling from the basement. So much so that it cripples her to a door.

Meanwhile, Ben is forced to leave Vance. As he takes off, Vance is being arrested.

Michaela sees a small door and finds Angelina.

Michaela brings Angelina back to their cabin and explains the callings to her. Angelina doesn’t want to be alone anymore, so Michaela decides to bring her home.

Ben is on the plane back to New York, when they take a detour and pick up Michaela, Zeke, and Angelina.

Everyone is home safely in New York and Cal says that he has been waiting for Angelina.

The same woman from earlier comes into the precinct but this time to talk to Vasquez. She says her mom has disappeared and that she hasn’t heard from her in 3 months. You guessed it, her mother is Katherine Fitz.

Ben and Michaela are talking about the plane and Ben is saying that he is thinking they really died in the plane crash. He thinks that they were resurrected.

Of course, they had to end it back at the lake from the Season 2 finale and guess who has come back to life. The three men.
