The Girlfriend Experience Season 3 finally premieres tonight after a lengthy hiatus. It’s been a long time since the Steven Soderbergh anthology series debuted new episodes, but that all changes tonight on Starz with two brand-new episodes!
At 8:00 p.m. ET, you can watch the premiere episode, “Mirrors,” and the second episode, “Everyone’s Got a Price,” follows immediately afterward at 8:31 p.m. EST. And if you don’t want to wait to watch, you can check out the first two episodes of Season 3 right now on the Starz app.
The new season stars Julia Goldani Telles, who you might recognize from her role on Showtime’s The Affair, as Iris, an American student who leaves an unfinished neuroscience major behind at a top-tier university to chase a position as a neuroscience researcher at a London tech startup.
On the side, she also starts her new job at a futuristic escort agency known as the V, where she delivers the ultimate “girlfriend experience” to her clients. Throughout the course of the season, we’ll see how Iris struggles to keep her two worlds separate.
What’s happening in The Girlfriend Experience Season 3 premiere?
In the first episode that premieres tonight, The Girlfriend Experience Season 3, Episode 1, Iris officially relocates to London and begins her double life, we get to see a little bit of how Iris operates in both worlds as she starts working as a researcher at a mysterious startup while meeting with her first official V client.

"Iris relocates to London for a radical reboot. Leaving behind her family and a half- finished degree at a top tier university, she begins a double life: working as a neuro researcher at elusive tech startup, NGM while providing the girlfriend experience for clients at night."
Immediately following that, the second episode of the season follows Iris and her co-worker Hiram as they start to build a unique AI project that mirrors human emotions. Iris gets the idea that she could potentially use her escort job as a way to mine valuable behavioral data.
