10. The Passage

The Passage was an adaptation of Justin Cronin’s trilogy. A thriller television series, The Passage, focused on a unique kind of vampire created in a post-apocalyptic future. I really enjoyed the first season of the show, which kind of had a The Last of Us vibe with an older, grizzled guy trying to save a young girl who could be the cure to everything.

Funnily enough, the show starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who also starred in one of the other canceled Fox shows featured on this list. It seems like he just didn’t have any good luck on this network! Even though The Passage had tons of room to grow, with the showrunners already planning to broaden its scope in its second season, it just didn’t get the ratings for Fox to renew it confidently.

9. Proven Innocent

I can understand why Fox canceled Proven Innocent. As I recall, it wasn’t all that popular while it was airing. But I’m still disappointed it became one of my canceled Fox shows because it was an exciting legal drama, and it ended on a big cliffhanger. Not only that, but the leading lady was likely bisexual, with a female love interest in the first season. It would have been nice to see the series continue.
