How to watch Mare of Easttown Season 1, Episode 5 tonight

The first few episodes of Mare of Easttown Season 1 focused on Mare trying to navigate the many suspects in Erin’s murder case. But last week’s episode kicked up the action to full-throttle with drama coming to head in Mare’s personal life, Katie Bailey’s case and Erin’s case.

At the end of the third episode, Mare was placed on administrative leave, not that it stopped her from jumping straight into things in the fourth hour. Apart from getting more clues into the mystery surrounding the (now) three missing girls in Easttown, Mare is also juggling two romantic suitors as Colin threw his hat into the ring by asking her out for dinner.

But beyond that, the final moments of Mare of Easttown Season 1, Episode 4 told us something extremely important. Katie Bailey is still alive and she’s being held captive in the dingy back room of a local place called Bennie’s Tavern alongside newly kidnapped Missy Sayers.

Tonight’s episode is sure to have plenty more shocks in store, especially as we buckle down for the final three episodes of the season!

The new episode of Mare of Easttown, “Illusions,” will debut at 10:06 p.m. EST tonight on HBO. The episodes run about an hour in length. Tonight’s episode is rated TV-MA for adult language, violence and adult content.

Mare of Easttown Season 1, Episode 5 will premiere on HBO with a simultaneous airing on HBO LATINO. The episode will also be available on demand via HBO Max. Here is the official synopsis for the new episode:

"In her mandated therapy, Mare opens up about her family’s history with mental health struggles. Meanwhile, Lori tries to get to the bottom of her son’s outburst at school, and later, Mare meets with a semi-retired source to help find a possible connection to her three cases."

New episodes of Mare of Easttown Season 1 air Sunday nights on HBO and are also available to stream via HBO Max.
