Mike and Sulley are back but this time they will be joined by a colorful bunch of talented monsters audiences haven’t met yet. Mark your calendars because the original series Monsters at Work is coming to Disney Plus on July 2, 2021!

The television series takes place after the events of the 2001 Disney and Pixar film, Monsters, Inc. By the end of the film, main characters and best friends Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan discover that children’s laughter can fuel the city of Monstropolis.

While no one probably had faith in them, the very end of the film proved that their plan has been successful, (including a tearful reunion of Sulley and Boo), however, audiences never got to see how the two managed to do the near-impossible. After years of the company using children’s screams thus hiring Scarers, the company will now be hiring Jokesters to obtain children’s laughter.

This change in the company will be far from easy as Tylor Tuskmon will discover on Monsters at Work.

Monsters at Work will bring back some familiar faces along with some new ones as Mike and Sulley now run the company Monsters, Inc.

Several actors will be reprising their roles including Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (Sulley), John Ratzenberger (Yeti), and Jennifer Tilly (Celia Mae). New to the monsters’ crew includes the following actors Ben Feldman (Tylor), Henry Winkler (Fritz), and Mindy Kaling (Val).

As Mike and Sulley are now in the charge of Monsters, Incorporated the two will have to put their skills to the test and save the company. Watch the Monsters at Work sneak peek, check out the full cast and more fun information at this link.
