Sweet Tooth‘s premise follows the fight between humans and hybrid creatures that are part human and part animal, which is what our main character is as you’ve likely seen from the first-look photos and poster.

The official logline for the series:

"Years after “The Great Crumble” changed everything, a hybrid deer-boy forms an unlikely bond with a wandering loner. They embark on an extraordinary adventure through the lush, dangerous world left behind, searching for the meaning of home."

The series stars Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Aliza Vellani, Neil Sandilands, with James Brolin and Will Forte.

Produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television, Sweet Tooth also comes from a notable Marvel name, Iron Man himself. Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey are also producing the series under their Team Downey production banner.

Despite its somewhat trippy premise, Sweet Tooth Season 1 is already receiving acclaim from critics and currently has a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, although that could fluctuate between now and the time of release.
