Will Nick Robinson appear in Love, Victor Season 2?

Love, Victor Season 2 is officially releasing on Hulu this Friday, June 11, after debuting in 2020. Initially slated for Disney+, Disney later moved the Love, Simon spin-off series to Hulu. The 2018 movie starred Jennifer Garner, Katherine Langford, Josh Duhamel and Nick Robinson.

Robinson played the titular role of Simon Spier and reprised his role on Love, Victor in-person and as a narrator. In the first season, Simon and Victor communicated via emails and letters as Victor tried to navigate coming out as gay at Creekwood High School.

Throughout the first season, we only saw Robinson in person once, as he returned in the show’s eighth episode with his boyfriend Bram Greenfield (Keiynan Lonsdale) from the film. But he lent his voice to each episode to narrate his responses to Victor.

Will Nick Robinson reprise his role as Simon in Love, Victor Season 2?

We haven’t officially heard anything regarding whether or not Robinson will reappear in the show’s second season. However, Robinson’s IMDb says his voice will return in at least the Season 2 premiere episode. It’s not clear if he’ll continue to narrate in each episode as he did in the first season.

As for whether the actor will actually guest star in an episode like he did in Season 1, if he is, then it looks like the producers are keeping it under wraps to surprise fans of the show. And who knows? Maybe we’ll end up seeing other characters from Love, Simon appear in Love, Victor Season 2.

I’m guessing there might have been some conflict with Robinson’s schedule as Love, Victor Season 2 started production in November 2020 and Robinson’s new show where he plays the lead, Netflix’s Maid, began principal photography in September 2020 and didn’t wrap until April 2021. Further complicating matters is that Maid filmed in Canada while Love, Victor shoots in Los Angeles.

Needless to say, Robinson might not have been able to make the scheduling work to do an in-person appearance this season, but you can, at the very least, expect a voice cameo in the Season 2 premiere!
