How to watch the Blindspotting series premiere tonight on Starz

Tonight the Starz adaptation and continuation of the 2018 film Blindspotting continues with Blindspotting Season 1, the beginning of a new chapter in the story helmed by Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal.
While the film followed Diggs and Casal’s characters Collin and Miles, the television show will switch focus to Ashley (Jasmine Cephas Jones), Miles’s girlfriend and mother of their son Sean. When Blindspotting Season 1 begins, Miles has recently been incarcerating, leaving Ashley alone with their kid and forced to move in with Miles’s mother and half-sister.
As one might expect knowing Miles’s own hot-blooded attitude, his sister, Trish (Jaylen Barron) might be even wilder than he is. And his mother, Rainey (Helen Hunt) values family above everything else and has strong opinions on just about everything.
Casal will also reprise his role as Miles in the series, although it’s not clear if Diggs will return as Collin. Both actors are back to create, produce, and write the show.
What’s happening in Blindspotting Season 1, Episode 1?
The first episode of Blindspotting Season 1 airs tonight on Starz at 9:00 p.m. EST after new episodes of The Girlfriend Experience and Run the World and preceding a new episode of Little Birds. If you’re a Starz subscriber, you can also watch the episode right now on the Starz app, as new episodes are made available at 12 a.m. ET the morning before their official debut.
In the premiere episode, titled “The Ordeal,” Ashley is ready to celebrate the new year with Miles, her partner of 12 years, but when she gets home she finds Miles being carted off in the back of a police car. From there, Ashley’s world quickly gets turned upside down as she is forced to go live with Miles’s family.
