When will Tuca & Bertie be available on HBO Max?

Now that Adult Swim has rescued Tuca & Bertie, many fans are eager to know when the series is going to stream on HBO Max. As more and more people are cord-cutting, watching a show live on Adult Swim isn’t as feasible as it once was.

Adult Swim and HBO Max recently announced a merger and as it stands, HBO Max is already expanding with more adult animation, and just regular animation, planned for the future. Tuca & Bertie‘s timeslot partner Rick & Morty is already available to watch on HBO Max, so it stands to reason our favorite bird BFFs will join in the future.

While I haven’t found anything officially confirming when the second season will come to HBO Max, it stands to reason that the season will become available sometimes after the second season finishes its run on Adult Swim. IndieWire did say the show would come to HBO Max in their initial review.

How can I watch Tuca & Bertie Season 2 right now?

Right now, the only way to keep up with the newest episodes is watching on Adult Swim, as new episodes air weekly at 11:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 p.m. CT on Cartoon Network. Warner Brothers Television is also giving the series a second run on TBS, which just started this past Monday, so the episodes will air there a few weeks delayed from the original Adult Swim run.

Adult Swim also provides simulcast on its website where viewers can watch episodes as they air on Cartoon Network, but you will need to have login via your cable provider or a digital television streaming service like YouTube TV or Sling TV.

Once they’ve aired, you can watch an episode online for free with ads for a limited time, then they will only be available to people who can log in with a cable provider’s details.

Will Tuca & Bertie Season 1 ever come to HBO Max?

This question is much trickier to answer as there have only been two cases where a show was canceled by Netflix and then saved by another network, the first was One Day at a Time and the second is this one.

I’m sure that WarnerMedia would like to get the rights to stream the first season of the series on their service, but for now the only place you can watch it is on Netflix. Hopefully, someday it will come to HBO Max to join the second season when it is available.
