Watch Tuca and Bertie Season 2, Episode 6 online tonight: July 18, 2021

Tuca and Bertie continues its successful second season tonight on Adult Swim. Tuca and Bertie Season 2, Episode 6, “The Moss,” is scheduled to air at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim following a new episode of Rick and Morty Season 5.

For those unaware, the animated series was originally a Netflix Original until the streaming service unceremoniously canceled it after just one season despite acclaimed reviews. The reasoning behind Netflix’s decision to cancel was never disclosed, although there are some rumors regarding the truth behind the choice.

The good news is that Adult Swim rescued Tuca and Bertie, and now our favorite best bird friends are back and thriving in their new home. In last week’s episode, Tuca struggled to understand whether or not her relationship with the night nurse Kara is platonic or romantic. At the same time, Bertie dealt with sexual fantasies directly related to her trauma.

What is Tuca and Bertie Season 2, Episode 6 about?

In Season 2, Episode 6, “The Moss,” Tuca and Bertie must deal with a new apartment manager who threatens to raise prices and gentrify the area. Given the episode’s title, I wonder if the manager is actually moss of some kind since it would fit with the many plant lifeforms we’ve seen populating Bird Town. It would also be cool if we got to see some of the returning tenants that share the apartment with Tuca and Bertie, like the fan-favorite Draca, Dapper Dog, and maybe even Bruce.

Meanwhile, Speckle becomes obsessed with building his dream house. In the official promo for the episode, we see him in a downward spiral as he tries to pick the perfect doorbell for what could be his and Bertie’s new home.
