By Mads Lennon
Yesterday Apple TV+ debuted the See Season 2 trailer! The action-packed, post-apocalyptic drama series is perfect for adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers looking for a new show to sink their teeth into.
Luckily for fans of the show’s first season, you won’t have to wait much longer to watch a new batch of episodes. The eight-episode second season is set to debut globally on Friday, August 27, 2021, on Apple TV+, with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday thereafter.
Set hundreds of years into the future, See follows humankind in a primitive world where they have lost the ability to see. The second season will feature the return of Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) as he struggles to unite his family while dealing with the potential threat of war between the Kingdom of Paya and the Trivantian Republic.
The See Season 2 trailer shows us the first real tease of Baba’s estranged brother, Edo Voss, played by Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista. Edo is a powerful and cunning Trivantian General with a long-simmering hatred for his brother that threatens to spill over in the new season.
The season also stars Alfre Woodard, Eden Epstein, Tom Mison, Hoon Lee, Olivia Cheng, David Hewlett, and Tamara Tunie.

“Everyone close to you always ends up suffering. Now it’s your turn, brother.”
I don’t know about you, but I got chills watching that trailer! Baba has no choice but to return to the place he had forsaken if it means retrieving his daughter after Edo kidnaps her. Everything about the new season looks bigger, with increasingly dramatic stakes, incredible action sequences, and more!
