Truth Be Told Season 2: Apple TV+ debuts official trailer featuring Kate Hudson

True crime podcaster Poppy Parnell is diving into yet another case in Truth Be Told Season 2, and this one hits much closer to home as it centers on her childhood friend and media mogul Micah Keith.
Earlier today Apple revealed the official season two trailer featuring Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer reprising her role as Poppy. This season she’ll be joined by Academy Award-nominee Kate Hudson, who plays the role of Micah.

Truth Be Told Season 2 premieres later this month
In the show’s sophomore season, Poppy risks everything to pursue justice when her friend Micah reaches out for her help. But as the story begins to unfold, their lifelong friendship will be put to the ultimate test.
In addition to Hudson, several actors are joining Truth Be Told Season 2 as series regulars, including Alona Tal, David Lyons, Andre Royo, Merle Dandridge, Christopher Backus, and Mychala Faith Lee. Returning cast includes Mekhi Phifer, Ron Cephas Jones, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Katherine LaNasa, Michael Beach, and Tami Roman.
The 10-episode second season of this anthology crime drama officially debuts on Friday, August 20, 2021, with the first episode. Like most Apple TV+ shows, the series will drop just one new episode a week on subsequent Fridays.
Truth Be Told is created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and produced by Hello Sunshine, Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content. Serving as executive producers alongside Spellman are Octavia Spencer; Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping for Chernin Entertainment; Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine; and Mikkel Nørgaard.
