4. That said, the wrestling is really entertaining to watch.

But even if you don’t like watching the WWE or know little about it, the good news is that it’s still entertaining to watch. The cast went through extensive training before starting the show to do the majority of their own stunts.

Most of what you see on-screen is really the actors getting into the groove of the performance. Sure, wrestling is “fake,” to an extent, but these guys are really doling out legitimate moves and feeling the brunt of those tosses and hits. Plus, who doesn’t want to see a bunch of attractive people tackling each other in colorful, tiny outfits?

3. Stephen Amell gets to do something new and fun.

If you’re a fan of Stephen Amell’s because you spent nearly 10 years watching him play Oliver Queen on the DCTV series Arrow, then you’ll likely enjoy watching him on this show, where he gets to do something completely different. It’s nice to see the character get to have a little more fun and levity in his performance than playing a character that was brooding almost 24/7.

No shade to Oliver because I’m an Arrow fan too, but it does seem like the actor is enjoying playing a role that is less restrained than one where you have to play inside the boundaries of the comic book lore.
