The Walking Dead Trailer: Season 3

By Season 3 of The Walking Dead stakes have become higher than ever before as Rick is officially the leader of the group. The trailer jumps between Rick’s group and Andrea’s whereabouts since she was separated from the group during the Season 2 finale.

On Rick’s end, the group finds a prison and decides to claim it as their new home. It is a dire situation for the group as walkers have overtaken it but they are desperate for some form of safety, especially with the likes of Lori being pregnant.

Andrea, now with Michonne, is taken by the season’s villain who goes by The Governor. This is the first time an actual, thriving community is revealed in the series even if Michonne is apprehensive about it.

Add to that a very catchy song that you’ll be singing for days, the first signs of Rick taking a more active approach in killing people bent on hurting him and his family, and the surprise twist that Daryl’s brother Merle was still alive!

As an added bonus Emily Kinney and Lauren Cohan sing The Parting Glass which somehow sounds inspiring as well as eerie at the same time considering what fans later discover happens that season.

The Walking Dead Trailer: Season 7

Where to begin with this trailer? The Season 6 finale ended on the biggest cliffhanger the show has had where fans are left to guess which character Negan decides to kill with Lucille.

Thus the majority of the trailer focuses on the long-awaited arrival of Negan, the characters that revolve around him and his home The Sanctuary, and the characters who were not present at the lineup. The just over three-minute trailer makes use of every second perfectly!

It begins with using quotes from each character at the lineup building the suspense and the reality that someone will be killed by Negan and never return to the show again. From there we catch glimpses of The Sanctuary, the brutality of Negan, Morgan, and Carol’s whereabouts, The Hilltop, and to top it off we get to see King Ezekiel and his tiger Shiva!

Once again the song used during the trailer is catchy and very fitting to the overall world The Walking Dead continues to build. Add to that the trailer includes scenes that will later become legendary including Negan’s “Little Pig, little pig, let me in”.

This trailer is guaranteed to give you goosebumps and chills.
