Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2, Episode 8 recap: Delusional

In the previous episode of Motherland: Fort Salem, Raelle reunites with her mother and Scylla. Will Raelle be able to handle the story she is about to hear?

Everyone is in Alder’s bunker. Tally walks in, and the rest clear away.

Alder wants to send Tally to find Nicte, but Tally says she won’t go without Abigail and Raelle.

She is then given orders to kill Nicte. This doesn’t sit well with Tally, but she goes along with it.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2, Episode 8: Will Tally kill Nicte?

Tally goes back to her room, and Petra is there. Tally tells her that she doesn’t want to kill Nicte. Petra knows that there is a bigger story, and she asks Tally to bring Nicte back alive. Then she asks Tally to tell her the whole story.

Abigail and Adil are with Scylla at Willa’s house. Adil leaves Abigail alone to talk to Scylla. Abigail tells Scylla to stand down, but Raelle comes out of her room and asks to talk to Scylla alone.

Scylla tells Raelle that her mom loved her. She also says that Willa didn’t want to risk reaching out with the Camarilla at large, but Raelle doesn’t want to hear it.

Scylla then tries to tell Raelle that she has changed. She says that the Camarilla is the only enemy. Does Raelle believe her?

Adil and Abigail are discussing what they did to the Camarilla. Adil doesn’t believe what they did was right and is nervous about what his sister will think.

The next morning, Scylla is with Raelle when the helicopter is arriving. Raelle tells Scylla to hide, but Scylla doesn’t want to hide anymore. She won’t leave Raelle.

Tally walks into the house and is greeted with hugs from Abigail and Raelle. Tally then starts to fill the girls in on the plan to grab Nicte.

Scylla tries to offer her help, but Abigail doesn’t think they should trust her. Tally and Raelle think that she could be an asset. Abigail agrees but threatens Scylla.

They land in the middle of the woods. The girls are asked to stay towards the back of the pack because they are cadets, but we know what they are capable of.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2, Episode 8: Will they find Nicte?

Raelle walks toward a chair and table in the middle of the woods. It transports her back to her parent’s house. Will someone be able to get her out of this trance?

Only at this house, her mother isn’t who she remembers. Her mother is hurting them. She keeps hearing voices says that this isn’t real.

Scylla cuts her a little bit to jolt her out. They both run through the woods to find Tally and Abigail. Most likely, they are in the same magic.

Tally jumps on something. She gets transported to Alder’s office. Alder is telling Tally that they have such a strong connection and that she will rejoin the biddies.

The biddies are tying Tally down. Raelle and Scylla are able to choke Tally out of her nightmare. When they get up, they see a storm starting. It has to be Abigail.

We see Abigail’s nightmare, and her mother is teaching her how to bring storms together to make an even more powerful one.

In the woods, Tally, Raelle, and Scylla see Abigail floating. The storm is getting closer to them, but they can’t wake Abigail up. At the last second, they are able to snap her out of it.

The girls continue their walk through the woods. They come across the rest of the group. They are all dead.

As they go further into the woods, they find a house. Abigail is quick to rush the house with the others. When they get inside, they find the woman that was pulled like Alder. They also see the man whose throat was burned.

In the middle of the house, the girls are fighting with each other. This has to be part of Nicte’s magic.

This makes them all start physically fighting each other, but Tally walks out and goes off on her own.

She starts to see the bats have a trail on them. She can see where they are going and knows Nicte is using bats.

As she walks a little further, Nicte comes out from behind a tree.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2, Episode 8: Will Tally be able to hold her own?

Scylla, Raelle, and Abigail are all still fighting. Meanwhile, Tally is defenseless against Nicte.

Tally tells Nicte that she isn’t there to kill her but wants to take her back to Fort Salem. Tally pleads for her to let her friends go. She also says that Nicte’s story will be heard.

Tally quickly realizes that Nicte can’t kill Tally while holding onto the unit. She is using up too much magic. Nicte releases the unit, and the unit realizes that Nicte has Tally.

Tally is able to take Nicte down. The rest of the unit finds her and puts her in witch cuffs.

They are walking out of the woods with Nicte. Scylla stops Raelle from talking. Scylla tells Raelle about Tiffany and finding her a home. Raelle wants to see that Scylla has changed but can’t fully trust her yet.

Tally and Abigail thank Scylla for helping them through.

Raelle then asks to talk to Scylla again. Raelle tells Scylla to bring Tiffany to her father, so Tiffany has a home and Raelle can find Scylla.

As Raelle goes to walk away, she can’t get on the helicopter. She runs and kisses Scylla goodbye.

On the helicopter, Abigail and Raelle forgive each other for what was said in the cabin. Nicte starts to lash out.

Is Nicte really Nicte? Or is she really Tally?

Alder isn’t happy to see Nicte alive. Alder announces that Nicte will pay. Abigail and Raelle notice that Tally isn’t Tally.

They are able to grab her before she goes after Alder. They reveal Tally to be Nicte and Nicte to be Tally. They now have the real Nicte in custody.
