Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 Finale Recap: Revolution, Part 1

In the previous episode of Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2, Witch Plague has entered Fort Salem. How will Tally, Raelle, and Abigial defeat it and the Camarilla?

Raelle and the rest of her unit have been able to outrun the Witch Plague this far. They make a plan to head back into Fort Salem, but the Witch Plague is everywhere.

The leader of the Camarilla comes out from within and sends the Witch Plague in their direction.

They need to retreat.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 finale: Will they outrun the Witch Plague?

Inside the cellar, the rest of the witches of Fort Salem are trying to come up with a plan to kill the Witch Plague.

Petra is talking to Anacostia and Izadora. Petra is going to take back the base. Alder comes in and offers her help.

Nicte is brought to Alder. But fighters come in. Nicte and Petra have to fight them together.

M leads the pack through another way, but there are Camarilla in their way. Tally can see the frequency that is interfering with their voices. She is able to cut through it with her voice.

She gets everyone to match the tone. They are able to knock out the men that are standing.

The group decides to split up and get that tune out to everyone.

Inside, Alder and Anacostia have to fight their way through another group of Camarilla. In one swoop, all of Alder’s biddies die of Witch Plague.

Is Alder going to be affected?

Petra and Nicte are in the cellar and the head of the Camarilla comes in, Dr. Hurst.

Dr. Hurst thanks Nicte for making the world hate witches. He moves onto Petra and threatens Abigail’s life. Petra gets the call to use the same pitch. She disarms Nicte and together they are able to take down the Camarilla.

The Camarilla walks into Khalida’s room. Adil runs in to protect Khalida but he is knocked down. Khalida has to use magic to kill the men and she does.

Tally, Abigail, and Raelle are on the balcony. They realize the Witch Plague is all connected. They need to find the source and hit it with the witch bomb.

Quinn is with the other witches at Raelle’s home base. Scylla and Quinn are teaching witches to fight. Raelle’s father comes in and tells everyone that Fort Salem is under attack.

Abigail, Raelle, and Tally realize that Penelope is the source of the Witch Plague. They realize that she doesn’t know what is going on.

Raelle tries to use the witch bomb against her but the plague is too strong.

Abigail tells Raelle to try again. Abigail starts to make a storm with it. She raises Penelope into the sky and is able to destroy her and the Witch Plague.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 finale: Is it over?

It is the next morning, everyone is cleaning up the aftermath. Abigail and Adil reunite. M and Gregorio are okay, too.

Raelle calls her father to let them know that she is okay. He and Scylla are relieved to hear her voice.

Alder is in rough shape but is still alive. She whispers something to Izadora. She asks for Raelle, Tally, and Abigail. She also wants to be taken to the Mycelium.

The girls go to her to say their goodbyes.

Raelle opens the Mycelium and they place Alder into it.

Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2 finale: How will VP Silver take the news?

Petra is in her office and is getting a briefing on the aftermath of the Camarilla attack. They have taken more vocal cords. They also think that when Alder stepped down, some of the wards were taken down with her.

Vice President Silver enters the room. Petra offers her condolences. He says that the Witch Plague got Penelope minutes after he left. He is now threatening to have Raelle, Tally, and Abigail arrested.

M reassures Tally, Raelle, and Abigail that taking down Penelope was the right thing to do. That they saved thousands of lives doing so.

Silver walks in and the girls are arrested.

Anacostia’s love interest, one of Silver’s men, enters her office. She wants to show him something. He was the one that signed off on Penelope’s interview. He also signed off on 2 other crews entering the building.

He realizes that it isn’t his signature. Someone used him.

The girls are in holding. They are in a cell with Nicte. She doesn’t think that any of this is going to end well.

Nicte tells Tally what Dr. Hurst said about her showing the world what witches were.

Tally is feeling defeated. Nicte tells her that the battle isn’t over.

Petra enters the President’s office. Petra wants to hold her own investigation, but the President has it all on camera. She wants the people to see that Witches need to be held accountable.

Petra is heading back to her helicopter and tells Anacostia to move. She calls Raelle’s father and asks for Scylla.

Adil and Khalida are fixing up Khalida’s room. Khalida talks about how she feels broken from killing that man. She apologizes for judging Adil when he did the same thing. She now wants to fight.

Anacostia walks in and says that Abigail is in danger. She gets them to fight.

The two of them create a sinkhole so the bus that is carrying Raelle, Tally, Abigail and Nicte has to stop. Raelle gets something on her hand that tells her to duck.

The guards get up and let the girls go. They are under the crow’s spell. The girls are released and so is Nicte.

A storm is being created around them. Anacostia and Petra come down from the helicopter.

Scylla is going to take the girls west. Petra tells Nicte to keep the girls safe. Nicte transforms the bus and they drive away in order to hide.

Petra and Anacostia get back into the helicopter and go back to the base.

Vice President Silver is watching a tape of his daughter. Dr. Hurst is also there. He is the one that “accidentally” stuck Penelope with the Witch Plague.

Silver knew that he was sacrificing his daughter.

Under Fort Salem, we see Alder come back to life in the Mycelium. Her story isn’t over, yet!

So many questions are still left unanswered. Will the girls make it out alive? Will Silver be held responsible?
