The sophomore season of Apple TV+’s action-packed, post-apocalyptic drama series See returns this Friday, August 27, 2021, for its second season. Starring Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Alfre Woodard. See Season 2 will kick off with the first episode on Friday followed by one new episode weekly, each Friday. Set in the primitive future hundreds of years after humanity has lost the ability to see, See Season sees Baba Voss (Momoa) struggling to reunite his family while protecting them as the threat of war looms closer between the Kingdom of Paya and the Trivantian Republic.
Things become even more complicated when Baba comes up against his estranged brother Edo Voss (Bautista), a powerful and cunning Trivantian General who has a long-simmering hatred for his brother, which puts Baba’s sighted children at the forefront of a dangerous battleground.
Joining Momoa, Bautista, and Woodard are joined in the second season are new series regulars Eden Epstein, Tom Mison, Hoon Lee, Olivia Cheng, David Hewlett and Tamara Tunie, as well as returning ensemble cast members Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper and Yadira Guevara-Prip.
The second season of See is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner. The series is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.
What is See Season 2, Episode 1 about?
The second season kicks off with “Brothers and Sisters,” which will see Baba Voss travel into hostile territory searching for Haniwa. If you recall, Haniwa was kidnapped at the end of the first season. Meanwhile, Queen Kane consecrates a new Payan capital, much to the chagrin of Maghra and its lord.
