Good news for Kevin Can F**K Himself fans! AMC has given Kevin Can F**K Himself Season 2 a green light, which means that the show is 100% confirmed to return soon, according to Deadline.

The show was a big success for AMC and AMC+ earlier this summer. Starring Schitt’s Creek actress Annie Murphy, Kevin Can F**K Himself delivered an eight-episode first season that ended with many unresolved questions and situations.

Per Deadline, the Annie Murphy starrer was the most-watched series on AMC+ and a top acquisition driver for the premium streaming bundle across all major distribution platforms. Considering AMC+ is still a relatively new premium service offered by the network, that’s a significant win. It was the biggest launch in the history of the service and garnered mostly positive reviews.

Apart from Murphy, the series also stars Mary Hollis Inboden, Eric Petersen, Alex Bonifer, Brian Howe, Candice Coke and Raymond Lee.

When will Kevin Can F**K Himself Season 2 premiere?

AMC has commissioned an eight-episode second season for a 2022 release. We don’t have an official timeframe for when the show will return, but I’m assuming it will remain an early summer series.

During the show’s first season, we followed the story of Allison McRoberts (Murphy). Allison is the typical sitcom wife, but while the show does demonstrate the classic multi-cam format we’re used to seeing on sitcoms, it then breaks away from that illusion whenever Allison isn’t with her husband.

We see how the show breaks classic television conventions throughout the first season by mixing multi-cam and single-cam drama. Allison slowly realizes that she’s tired of living under her moronic husband’s rules and rebels against the injustices she has faced in her married life.
