This is it; the second and final season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond is upon us. What can fans expect?

AMC recently dropped the Season 2 trailer, and it appears to be both action-packed and heartwarming at the same time. It seems as though this season is taking some pointers from the darker and more serious-toned ones from The Walking Dead.

For starters, how the CRM is performing tests to stop walkers (empties) from killing survivors seems rather unethical. Was that seriously Hope trying to sleep next to one attempting to grab her?

What is with those radios taped to walkers? Are they being tracked?

How will The Walking Dead: World Beyond conclude its two-season run?

How about the fact that everyone, including Elton, is finally killing walkers without fear or hesitation? This is the character growth progression we love to see!

We want to see the main characters growing from being sheltered youths to being able to defend themselves in the real world regardless of how dangerous it is.

Seeing several characters coming together to stop the CRM looks nearly like a war in the making. And let’s be honest, does Huck even believe herself when she tells Hope she’s safe?

Some other high points in the trailer include Hope and Iris reuniting with their father, the CRM attacking a walled-off community, and CRM soldiers donning walker masks like The Whisperers used to do. But the moment everyone seems to talk about the most is the reveal of Anne herself from The Walking Dead.

Finally, she is making a much-needed appearance to answer some questions, hopefully. Will fans get some hints as to Rick’s whereabouts? How will this show conclude? October is only a month away, and who knows how many teasers will be released along the way.
