The official trailer for The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 2 has been released, here are our top 5 moments!

The wait is nearly over! The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 2 premieres on October 3, 2021, and the trailer has been released!

The just over three-minute trailer posted by The Walking Dead YouTube Channel has over 150,000 views thus far. In that short amount of time, there is a lot to digest, from walker attacks to deceit and what looks like a war against the very foundation of the CRM.

All of this happening while the song Start a War by Klergy with Valerie Broussard plays in the background. With all of this going on, five moments stood out from the rest.

In no particular order, let’s start the list of the top five moments from the trailer!

Warning: If you have not caught up with The Walking Dead or The Walking Dead: World Beyond, there will be spoilers.

5. Anne

We may finally be one step closer to finding out why Anne is working with the CRM, what her role even is and where Rick might be! Anne, who went by the name Jadis on The Walking Dead, was the group leader who lived in a garbage dump.

She barely spoke English and wound up becoming a near double agent as she first worked with Negan and The Saviors before switching sides to aid Rick Grimes. In the end, Negan’s right-hand man Simon killed her group, and she sought revenge.

Negan was the first she was about to offer to a helicopter with the three circles. She decides to let him go and later on tries again with Father Gabriel.

Both men never spoke of the helicopter incident, and in the end, she saves Rick’s life by taking him with her in the helicopter. At the time, no one understood what was going on, but now we have some ideas.

It appears Anne’s job was acquiring specific people that fit the A or B category. Were these people meant to be used for future experiments at the CRM?

It will be interesting to find out more about Anne’s role in the CRM, hoping that we’ll see or hear of Rick.
