4. CRM walker masks

You thought The Whisperers were the only people smart enough to wear walker masks to blend in? Apparently, the CRM either had the same idea, saw The Whisperers use this tactic, or are previous Whisperers themselves.

Talk about a mind-blowing revelation!

We’ve seen characters in The Walking Dead use the method of covering themselves in walker guts to blend in but actually wearing dead walker skin is something else entirely. From what the trailer shows us, the CRM soldiers are nothing but ruthless and loyal.

There must be a significant reason why they feel the need to wear walker masks. Is this how they are able to see up close what survivors are up to?

Is this how they obtain walkers to experiment on? Or is there another reason altogether that we are not aware of yet?

When we thought we had the CRM figured out, they continue to surprise us.

3. Family reunion

The apocalypse doesn’t have to be all bad all the time, and this moment truly proved that. In case you missed it, there is a moment when both Hope and Iris are embracing their father, Dr. Bennett.

Their father’s distress message was the main reason the sisters fled their home’s safety and continued to be the only thing that kept that going when things got tough. While Hope and Iris shared different opinions about the CRM, they wanted to be with their father.

This beautiful moment reminds fans how fragile it all is as many characters have no family left. The expression on Dr. Bennett’s face says so much as he holds his children!

The fact that we already see Hope and Iris converse earlier in the trailer means that there has to be a way into the CRM. It also means that the sisters can plan Hope’s escape and find a way to stop the CRM.

However, how will this affect Dr. Bennett’s position and work with both of his daughters in danger? Let’s hope this beautiful family reunion isn’t the last time the three of them are together.
