Big news from STARZ, the first three episodes of the critically acclaimed wrestling drama starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig, Heels STARZ, will be available to stream for FREE starting this weekend.
Starting on Friday, September 17, you will be able to watch the first three episodes of the show on multiple platforms. Star Stephen Amell took to his Instagram earlier today to announce the exciting news to his many fans. You can check out the video yourself below.
For those who haven’t had the chance to watch Heels STARZ yet or aren’t familiar with what it is about, the new show is a wrestling drama set in small-town Georgia at the Duffy Wrestling League. Throughout the show’s first season, we see how Jack Spade (Amell) and his brother Ace (Ludwig) fight to keep their father’s legacy alive at the DWL.
Jack is the “heel,” or the villain in the ring, while Ace is known around town as the “face.” But as the season unravels, we see how the various characters and storylines shift and create captivating drama. Even if you don’t know anything about wrestling, you should still give Heels a chance! It will remind you of Friday Night Lights in a lot of ways.

On Friday, September 17 at 12:01 a.m. ET, you can watch the first three episodes of the show on the STARZ app. You will also be able to watch the episodes via YouTube and Facebook starting at 8:00 a.m. PT. Additionally, all three episodes will be available on Amazon, Apple, Att, Century Link, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Dish, Dtv, Google, Roku, Sling, Verizon and Vubiquity.
Heels STARZ has received almost unanimous critical acclaim since its debut with a Certified Fresh score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
