Only Murders in the Building Season 1, Episode 7 Recap: The Boy from 6B

In the previous episode of Only Murders in the Building, the trio was sent Tim Kono’s phone. Will they be able to unlock it or get anything good out of it?

We start back in time. Theo is with his father. He is deaf and cannot hear his father’s work.

We jump to the future and see Theo spying on Oliver, Mabel, and Charles. He sees the suspect board.

The trio thinks Teddy is the murderer, but could Theo really be involved?

Only Murders in the Building: Will there be more evidence?

Theo is on his way out and has a conversation with the doorman. While the doorman’s back is turned, he takes a set of keys.

He goes to Apartment C and walks in. He sees the suspect board in its entirety. He takes a picture of it.

Meanwhile, Charles and Mabel sneak into Apartment B. It is Teddy’s apartment. Mabel finds a hidden wall and goes inside. But, Oliver is on his way back with Teddy and they have to get out of there.

Mabel and Charles find a room filled with urns that belong to a funeral parlor. As Mabel and Charles are leaving, Theo walks in.

He can’t hear them, so they are able to escape.

They make it out in time and Teddy walks into his apartment. Theo tells Teddy that they are onto them and shows them the suspect wall.

Theo tells him that they are suspects. Teddy tells him not to worry about it and that he will take care of it.

Teddy opens the secret door and opens a package of jewelry. He puts it into an urn.

We go back in time to when the Hardy Boys went into Teddy’s home. Theo is watching them, but they don’t know it. We see Zoe take the ring from the night where she went missing.

After Theo is done reminiscing, he looks down at the floor and sees one of the kitchen gloves Charles wore into the apartment when they were searching.

Only Murders in the Building: How will Teddy spin this story?

Charles is getting ready for his date. Theo is dressed in all black and is on his way somewhere.

We jump back in time again. To the night of the party. Zoe, Teddy, and Theo all end up in the same elevator. Zoe is flirting with Theo.

As Zoe is leaving, she signs Happy New Year. After she leaves, Teddy yells at Theo because he sees the right on her finger.

Oliver and Mabel attend a wake and the funeral home that Teddy had the urns from. They see a cart of urns go by and follow it.

Oliver and Mabel go downstairs and find a secret room. They come across jewelry in jars.

Someone in a hazmat suit comes downstairs and takes jewelry off of a body. Mabel puts it together that Teddy is a grave robber.

We then see that Theo is the one in the hazmat suit. As Mabel and Oliver go to leave, they get stuck behind the wall and Theo sees them.

He recognizes Mabel from the night that Zoe died.

We flashback and see that Theo is watching Zoe and Oscar fight. After Oscar walks away, Theo goes over to talk to Zoe.

Theo asks Zoe for the ring back. He tells her that his father is angry. Theo says that he will get her a real ring one day. She laughs in his face.

They get into a fight and she gives him the ring. But, she starts hitting Theo. Theo pushes back and Zoe falls off the ledge of the building.

Tim Kono saw the whole thing.

Theo goes back to his dad that night and hands Teddy the ring.

We then see Teddy go to Tim Kono and threaten his life, as well as Mabel’s, if he tells anyone what he saw.

Charles wakes up in the middle of the night to all of Oliver and Mabel’s texts. They tell him to try the password “Theo” on the phone.

Theo texts his father that they know everything. He also has Mabel and Oliver in the back of his van. Charles gets into Tim’s phone, but will it be enough to save Mabel and Oliver?
