Watch Only Murders in the Building Episode 8 tonight, October 5
By Mads Lennon
Only Murders in the Building Episode 8 premieres tonight on Hulu, find out everything you need to know about the latest episode.
The previous episode was a standout in the show and an excellent showcase of creativity and performances all around. In an almost entirely silent episode, last week we learned a lot more about Teddy and the complicated relationship he shares with his deaf son Theo.
By the end of the hour, we found out that (spoiler alert!) Theo was involved with Zoe’s death, although it wasn’t really his fault. But Tim witnessed the incident and Teddy threatened him to stay silent or he would kill his friends, including Mabel.
Tim stayed quiet until the end trying to protect her. In the final moments of the episode, Theo makes off with Mabel and Oliver stashed into his car, although they were able to text Charles and tell him the password to Tim’s phone and finally get inside. What will happen next? Did Theo have Tim killed? What other twists are in store?
What is happening in Only Murders in the Building Episode 8?
Tonight Only Murders in the Building will get a little bit meta with an episode titled “Fan Fiction,” dedicated to fans of the in-universe podcast hosted by Mabel, Charles and Oliver. When the trio hits a roadblock in their investigation, they turn to the podcast’s superfans to ask for advice.
Since the podcast was advertised by Cinda Canning on the Tonight Show, their numbers have grown substantially and now their podcast has a larger following. Hopefully, their fans can help point them in the right direction to continue their investigation into Tim Kono’s murder.
