This season has continued to tackle relevant issues, such as sexual harassment, racism, and even COVID. In addition, it’s also brought to light some other issues, such as public figures being outed as LGBTQ+ without their consent with Bradley and Laura’s storylines and ageism when it comes to the introduction of young, ambitious Stella.

The Morning Show Season 2, Episode 7 will see Alex back after her absence last week. The synopsis teases that she’ll be meeting with someone in order to find closure. Considering the episode title is in Italian and translates to “the bitter life,” we think it’s a safe bet that person may be none other than Mitch Kessler.

If that is indeed true, will they discuss their past? Potentially talk about what’s going to come out in Maggie’s book? Will COVID affect her travel plans considering we know that Italy was a hotspot for the pandemic around the time Alex is going to travel? How will she and Paola react to each other?

We also left on somewhat of a cliffhanger last week. Bradley struggled after being publicly outed, leading to a fight with her brother Hal — who paid her a surprise visit — and getting into a nasty argument with her girlfriend Laura. The end of the episode saw her kick Hal out and admit to Cory that she needs to tell the world how she really feels about Laura so she doesn’t lose her. Something tells us the future of her relationship with both Hal and Laura isn’t going to be completely smooth sailing.
