Has Fox renewed The Big Leap season 2?

There’s no official word on whether there will be a second season, but creator Liz Heldens says she is “very hopeful.” There are many factors that go into whether a show will get a second season, but The Big Leap does have a few things going for it! In addition to airing on Fox, the show also drops on Hulu, where it has been doing well. The series has just been released on Disney Plus in a few international markets, including the UK and Ireland. Fingers crossed it finds an even bigger audience of people who love it there!

What will The Big Leap season 2 be about?

There are so many directions season 2 could go. There are, of course, those cliffhangers we were left on in the season 1 finale. [Spoilers ahead!] Not only is Brittney pregnant with Reggie’s baby — but Nick knows about it and wants to use it for another villain arc moving forward. This will certainly complicate Reggie and Gabby’s relationship as well, which was just repaired.

And speaking of Nick, he and Monica are currently on the outs after that brutal comment Nick heard her say to Wayne about him being sleazy. If the show gets renewed, we will continue to explore their rocky relationship, as well as the romance between Simon and Justin and the burgeoning friendship of Julia and Raven. Oh, and Mike inheriting a few million dollars from Paula!

When will The Big Leap season 2 premiere?

If The Big Leap does get renewed for a second season, it will likely premiere in the fall of 2022. Since the first season was part of Fox’s fall lineup, it would make sense that a second season would premiere around September of next year.
