2. Silas becomes a CRM soldier in The Walking Dead: World Beyond

Silas and Dennis bonded in a friendship/mentor and student-type fashion during the final season, which made their last moment together all the more heartbreaking. When Jennifer sent her husband and Silas away from the gas they intended to destroy, the CRM wasn’t far behind.

Dennis’s wound from an earlier gunshot wasn’t healing, and if the CRM caught them, they’d both die. To save Silas’s life, Dennis begged to be killed.

Silas fulfilled his request to make it look like he was kidnapped and not on the side of traitors. When Jadis meets with Silas later on, she recruits him to be a CRM soldier.

Silas doesn’t diverge from his lies, but Jadis seems to see through him anyway. She still sees potential in him.

The last time we see Silas, he is wearing the black CRM armor. Will Silas still stay loyal to his friends?

Or will he protect the CRM at all costs?

1. New breed of walker in The Walking Dead: World Beyond?

Perhaps the most talked-about moment all season long is the end credits scene. A female French scientist listens to a recording left behind by the CDC’s Dr. Jenner talking about the walkers as an unknown French man arrives with a gun.

The two exchange some cryptic sentences implying several things, including that French scientists are possibly responsible for the walker apocalypse. He, of course, kills her and leaves before she turns.

However, when she does, she is faster and more violent than the walkers we have been seeing for years in The Walking Dead Universe. This raises a lot of questions about what is in store for those still surviving.

Does this mean civilization will never be possible again? Does this mean there will be several walker variants yet to come?

What about the French scientists who escaped? How did all of this happen to begin with?

It seems those answers will be revealed at a later time.
