All American Season 4 Episode 7 Recap: Prom Night

In the previous episode of All American season 4, Simone told Jordan that she would not be able to go to prom due to a tournament. Will Jordan and Simone be able to get past their physical distance on prom night? Or will this be the end of the line?

Olivia shows up at Spencer’s school to ask him to prom with a prom-posal. They want to make both of their prom experiences drama-free.

Asher, JJ, and Jordan are talking about prom dates. Asher doesn’t have one, and he doesn’t want one. Jordan is also now dateless.

The Crenshaw football team is talking about their senior gift to the school. The boys have something planned for the rest of the team, but we aren’t given any clues yet.

All American Season 4 Episode 7: Will Spencer and Olivia get their drama-free prom?

Grace comes home to Carter making dinner for her. He is also asking her to prom. Of course, she says yes.

Olivia goes to see Jen, her mentee, perform. Jen is trying to bail on another meeting. Olivia doesn’t want to let her keep skipping out.

Olivia talks to Spencer about how Jen keeps ditching her. He wants her to be honest with Jen. JJ knocks on the door. He rushes into the Baker house with the news that the gym has been flooded and that prom is ruined.

Asher is eating with JJ and Jordan. There are some updates about prom. JJ is trying to set Asher up with a date, but he says that he is good. Jordan gets a call from Simone and gets up. The waitress comes over and says that she is going to prom with Asher.

Asher runs over to thank her. She tells him that she can’t really go, but he is happy for the help with JJ.

Spencer is with Chris and Carter. He is trying to push for Crenshaw and Beverly’s prom to be combined. Chris and Carter agree to this.

All American Season 4 Episode 7: How will everyone feel about a combined prom?

Coop is with Amina and Preach. Amina wants Coop and Patience to get ready at their house. What does Amina have up her sleeve?

Layla, Patience, and Olivia are setting up for prom. Patience is trying to set Layla up with her DJ friend, but Layla isn’t having it.

Billy and Jordan are at home with Jordan’s Grandpa. Billy asks him to chaperone. Looks like all three Baker men are going to prom.

Patience and Coop are getting ready at Preach’s house. Amina is talking to Patience about her mother and how Coop has been helping her through it. Prom night is upon us. Spencer picks up Olivia. Olivia wants to stop somewhere before prom. She goes to Jen. Olivia lays everything on the line for her. Will this make Jen wake up?

Layla is talking to Laura at a pre-prom event. Layla confides in her that she wishes her mom got to see this moment. JJ makes a toast and has everyone get in for a group photo.

Everyone has arrived at prom except for Asher. Asher goes back to the restaurant and asks to hang out with the waitress, Jamie.

At prom, Clay the DJ shoots his shot with Layla, and she turns him down. Spencer and Olivia are happy that they are having a drama-free prom night. Layla runs into Jordan outside sitting on the steps. He just got a call from Simone that she won both of her games in the tournament. Jordan wants to bail, but Layla asks him for one dance.

Jordan has seen Clay and is asking Layla about him. Layla says that he doesn’t trust Clay because of what happened with Carrie. Jordan has decided not to bail on prom after all.

Asher is still with Jamie. They are enjoying their evening together. Jamie tells him that she used to be him, only she was a swimmer.

The Crenshaw football team has a gift for the seniors. They give the seniors the state championship trophy, which has been stolen from Beverly. Instead of telling Billy what the underclassmen have done. Spencer makes the great decision for all of them to go return it together — which means they will all be breaking into Beverly once more.

All American Season 4 Episode 7: Will Spencer be able to pull this off?

Back in the gymnasium, they are announcing prom King and Queen. It goes to Patience and Coop. Meanwhile, Asher and Jamie are now dancing at the restaurant. Jamie tells him that they should go to prom. Asher agrees, but will they actually go?

The boys are at Beverly High School putting the trophy back in its case. Spencer realizes that the Crenshaw football team is the reason that the prom at Beverly got canceled. They triggered the sprinklers when they stole the trophy, to begin with.

Spencer returns back to Olivia. Olivia isn’t happy that Spencer ran off, but her phone rings. It is Jen. She is in need of help, so Olivia has to leave. Carter grabs Spencer before they have a chance to leave. Could Carter know about the trophy?

Jordan goes to the studio after prom. He wants Layla to go with him to grab food, but Layla isn’t alone. Clay is with her. This rattles Jordan a little bit.

Back at the school, Spencer takes the fall for the trophy. Carter warns him that he could be expelled, but Spencer doubles down. Spencer is talking to Billy in the locker room when Billy finds his dad unconscious.

At Preach’s house, Amina asks Preach why Coop killed her mom, and Preach doesn’t answer.
