Let’s start this off with a little refresher course on Jadis. Jadis was first seen on The Walking Dead as the leader of The Scavengers.

This group willingly lived in a garbage dump and spoke a little bit of English here and there. Jadis winds up taking Negan’s side in the first half of the war of The Saviors vs. Alexandria, The Kingdom, and The Hilltop.

Halfway through, Jadis switches sides and watches her group get slaughtered by Simon, Negan’s right-hand man. Jadis blames Negan (who did not order the attack) and prepares him to be taken by a helicopter.

She changes her mind and winds up actually joining Alexandria after the war ends. She starts a relationship with Father Gabriel, confessing her name is actually Anne.

Is the next The Walking Dead villain actually Jadis?

After making such progress, she reverts back to her old ways and tries to send Father Gabriel to the helicopter. (By the way, neither Negan nor Father Gabriel tells anyone about the helicopter).

This also fails. When she succeeds, she does so to save Rick Grimes from death.

Fast forward to The Walking Dead: World Beyond, where she is now working security for the CRM. She is sent to the base to look after Elizabeth Kubleck’s daughter Jennifer and to fix the endless mess left by Dr. Bennett and his daughters Hope and Iris.

Jadis knows of the secret experiments conducted on innocent people at the CRM. While the plan to kill thousands at Portland fails, Jadis does have Elizabeth arrested for treason and seems to hold a new level of power at the CRM.

This begs the question and the purpose of this article: does this mean Alexandria is in trouble? Jadis was aware of several communities, not just Alexandria, before her arrival at the CRM.

Yet as far as we’ve seen on World Beyond, none of those communities were mentioned. Is she purposely withholding her intel on them from the CR, or does she have plans for them herself?

Jadis had proven herself to be very cutthroat and calculating. She might not have spotted Jennifer’s betrayal but seems to have no issue in keeping the CRM intact, regardless of the acts she commits.

If she truly believes that there will not be enough supply to meet the demand of those still surviving the apocalypse, then why hasn’t she made an attempt to pay Alexandria a visit herself? Why hasn’t the CR arrived yet?

Could it be that Alexandria is too small a fish to worry about, unlike The Commonwealth? Or is Jadis simply buying her time?

At this point, either the CR is unaware of Alexandria, or they are and haven’t made an approach. If Jadis had to prove why Rick was valuable, then wouldn’t Alexandria have to be mentioned?

Unless Rick and Jadis lie about which community he was from to protect them. Either way, with The Walking Dead already in their final season and World Beyond just wrapped up, where and when will we be seeing the likes of Jadis and the CRM again?

Will they appear on Fear The Walking Dead or be the focus of another spinoff? We can assume that Jadis may become the next, if not the ultimate, villain The Walking Dead Universe ever had outside of walkers.

If that’s the case, then our heroes are in more trouble than they realize because no one will see this coming!
