This is Us season 6: Are Rebecca and Nicky Together?

The big bombshell from the third season finale saw Becca on her death bed with her three children gathering with their spouses (and Toby, but more on that later…). While this would have been sad by itself, an old woman is not a headline. This headline comes from the fact that Nicky was by her side and not Miguel. Now, this could mean countless things. One theory is that Nicky is just being a good brother looking after Jack’s wife. However, it also could mean Nicky and Rebecca became romantically involved. The only major cast member not mentioned or seen at this party is Miguel, so he could have easily passed away, leading to Nicky helping out where he can after due to the military demons he earned in Vietnam.

Speaking of Miguel, however, there are still a lot of untold stories when it comes to Jon Huertas’ character. The biggest one, however, is the tale of the widowed Rebecca and likely equally grieving Miguel after Jack’s early passing. We have seen some of this already, with Miguel helping out Becca and the Big Three that summer and fall after Jack died, but audiences have not seen a date, proposal, or wedding yet, so expect some time to be taken to tell those stories some more. Knowing this show and how they tell their stories, the story of how Miguel is not in the picture anymore and how he and Rebecca actually become a romantic couple will be told in the same episode.
