Apple TV+ is becoming quite a key player in the streaming space. From award-winning comedies like Ted Lasso and Dickinson to hit dramas like The Morning Show and Defending Jacob, it’s always fun to see what the platform will release next. One we won’t have to wait long for is its new thriller Severance. Read on to find out when it’s premiering, what it’s about, who stars in it, and more.

What’s Severance about?

Severance is about a group of people who agree to a procedure that surgically splits their memories between their work life and their home life. When a mysterious co-worker appears outside of work, questions begin arising about what they’re really doing at their jobs — and why the procedure was necessary.

Who’s in the Severance cast?

Severance consists of an all-star cast. Adam Scott stars in the lead role as Mark, taking a slightly darker turn with this project as opposed to his previous projects like Parks and Recreation and Step Brothers. Britt Lower (High Maintenance, Man Seeking Woman) plays a new co-worker named Helly. Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, and John Turturro will also appear.

The series was created by relative newcomer Dan Erickson. Ben Stiller (best known for acting roles on comedies like Meet the Parents, Zoolander, and Tropic Thunder) directed the first three episodes and serves as an executive producer.
